We experienced a particularly difficult week. Many of our team were sick enough to be hospitalized or had family that was hospitalized. The people in the office felt it would be good to bring some good energy into the office by having a Puja in our office. Today we invited a Hindu priest to lead us through a Puja. I was asked to sit next to the priest and do the ceremony with him. It was an enlightening experience. Even though the priest spoke Hindi and Sanskrit, they translated everything into english for me and took the time to explain what, why and how everything was to be done.
Puja is a religious ritual performed by Hindus as an offering to various deities or gods. Puja is based on the idea of giving a gift or offering to an idol or god and receiving their blessing.
