This large statue is made of one piece of rock. They brought a long way on land and then apparently when they were taking out to the island the barge that they were using to transport it sunk. It stayed on the bottom of the lake for several years. They eventually brought in an American salvage team who found a way to recover the statue and get it to the Island.
